Just a reminder we are a "Private Treaty Bull Sale"
All bulls are raised here on the ranch and never leave. We operate at an average of 6,700 feet of elevation. PAP TESTED. Our PAP tests are very accurate because of that.
What is Pap testing in cattle? Pulmonary arterial pressure (P.A.P.) testing is done to rule out High Mountain (or Brisket) disease. This disease is a costly disease of cattle raised at elevations greater than 5,000 ft. SEE VIDEO BELOW ABOUT PAP.
Check out this great video about Pap testing with Dr. Tim Holt with CSU. It's important to test our bulls.
