County & State Fair Summer 2020 - The last few weeks have been full of laughter, tears, sweat, blood, sleepless nights, anxiety and just about every other single emotion you can imagine but I wouldn’t change it for anything. These boys have worked the last 9 months for the rewards that they received at county and state fair. I couldn’t be more proud of them all. Did we come home Grand Champions in it all? Nope. Did we achieve all the goals set for the year? Nope. Did we learn valuable life lessons? Absolutely. Are they hungry for next year? Absolutely.
Are the goals set on the way home for next year doable? Absolutely.
Lite a fire in their hearts to set big goals and never let them feel as though they have failed if those goals aren’t completed.
Show them that defeat is the next best thing to winning because you learn so much more. Yes, it’s disappointing and heartbreaking at times, but have your moment for tears and anger then move on. Take those feelings and lite that fire to be better next time.

First Laramie County Fair in the books! Did great for his first year! Reserve Champion in his Hereford class and made it to the final round of Born and Raised. So proud of all the hard work and time he is put into this steer “Slappy”. Now for the big sale day Saturday! Thanks to Kim, TC, Tate and Cooper for welcoming Bricen into your home for the summer and taking him under your wing. He has learned from the best❤️Being a fair mom is hard work!!!
